It all started in January 2016 with a single Apple Mac, a coffee machine and a burning desire to build a truly great place to work.

There were 4 of us when we opened the doors and six years later, we’ve grown to a headcount of 50+ and counting, meet the team. The early days were challenging. It was dark outside, the rain was lashing against the window and the phone wasn’t ringing. But we’re proud to say that everyone who was with us on day one is still with us today. We believe in keeping things simple and this is reflected in our Vision:

    We now have some new homes to call our own. You can find our HQ in the centre of Nottingham and our second UK office in Milton Keynes.

    People are at the heart of Distinct and gradual reinvestment to expand our team has supported this growth. We thrive on creating an environment that attracts and retains the best people in recruitment and promoting transparency around our vision.

    We’re an eclectic bunch and, whilst most people don’t come to work to make friends, we’re very fortunate to have an incredible team around us. Even though we’re six years into our journey, it still feels like we’re just getting started.
