Agile Delivery Manager | Up to 55k

Fully remote with 1 day per month in either their Nottingham or London office (depending on which you live closest to) for meetings / chats / beers etc.


Normally when you’re an Agile Delivery Manager you’re tasked with retrospectively fitting Agile processes into an engineering/product team who think they want to work in an agile manner. But once you start bringing in Agile practices, they start clashing on what “parts” of agile they want to use, or product & engineering have different ideas on what needs doing…


This isn’t like that.


This is one of those opportunities that doesn’t come along very often. The opportunity to set up agile processes from scratch, your way, for a fast-growing tech start-up who are all on the same page & working towards the same goal.


Until now they’ve gotten away with using a light touch delivery framework but now they’re bringing on more and more clients they’ve reached that point where it’s imperative they start to utilise Agile fully so they can deliver properly & stay out ahead of the competition.


And you could lead that. They need a proven Agile Delivery Manager who isn’t afraid of a blank canvas – they relish it. A solid agile and scrum enthusiast who knows their stuff, can be left to get on with things & who can whip this data-driven team & their processes into shape.


Importantly, this team are totally ready for this change. Why? Because they actually understand how much value being a fully Agile business is going to add to their already incredible work ethic! This isn’t something management want and the team don’t. They’re a bunch of passionate techies who are all working as a team towards the same goal – to keep things simple for the customer.


One thing I love about this business is their priorities. Although they’re looking to expand in numbers to capitalise on their success, THIS is the first hire. I love that they have that pragmatism, that clarity, of knowing that in order to get to where they need to go, they first need to sort out their ways of working, plan, and lay proper foundations otherwise it won’t work.
