Audit Assistant Manager, Nottingham, £35,000 - £40,000
Here's an opportunity with a smaller firm.
But that doesn't mean your client base will be less interesting.
It will mean less travel and fewer hours though. To give you an idea, it will be very rare that you will need to work more than 37.5 hours in a week. There won't be any overnight stays either (even in the future, when we're back to normal).
In terms of the day to day, it probably won't differ massively from the role you are doing at the moment. What you will get with this role, however, is the chance to do some accounts prep for your smaller size clients and probably play a bigger role in the Audit that you do at the moment.
These guys deal with clients up to £90m t/o and the vast majority are in the East Mids. It's a small, close knit team as oppose to a whole floor full of Auditors that you never really speak to.
It would suit a Qualified or close to be Qualified Accountant who fancies a better work life balance and broader focussed role. You may be in a smaller Practice and wanting to get some more Audit experience (you'll need to have some though to be considered for this one).
You'll have progression opportunities in the firm but this would also set you up well for a FC / HoF role in Industry in the future.
Get in touch if you'd like to know more. An up to date CV isn't necessary for this one, let's have a chat first and go from there.
