OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

A truly great opportunity for an experienced business development professional to join a prestigious law firm in a business critical and commercial role. This is a place where you will be trusted and treated as an individual, it will not suit someone who enjoys being micromanaged! You will be joining a marketing team of 30 awesome BD and marketing colleagues who are based around Nottingham, Birmingham, Leicester and London.

KEY DUTIES

• Driving business development initiatives across the business
• To act as a conduit between the key business areas and the marketing specialisms
• You will encourage, challenge and coach partners and fee earners to achieve goals
• Key account planning
• Identifying and targeting initiatives and strategies alongside your marketing colleagues
• Leading business development meetings
• Introducing the business to prospective clients
• Identifying news areas for referrals
• Researching partnership/sponsorship opportunities

SKILLS / EXPERTISE REQUIRED

• Business Development experience gained within a professional services environment is essential
• CRM expertise - ideally Dynamics and Introhive or similar
