C#.NET Developer | Leicester | £30,000 - £50,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)
You’re a solid C# Developer, but you’re being pressured to learn React, Angular & Vue… you’re giving it a go but all you can think is “Why have yI bothered spending the last 5+ years of my life honing my .NET skills just to now learn something else?”
Feel familiar? If you want to do the job you’re passionate about & are looking for a new role where you can use your core skills on a daily basis & get some real job satisfaction whilst you’re at it, then read on…
At this small, fast growing business in Leicester you have a real opportunity to tangibly change the way that they do business. They’re a retailer who are making a huge investment in their online offering because they know if they can drive more sales through the website, they will achieve the growth that they’re forecasting.
I have rarely come across a company with such huge ambition, who actually have the ability and the funding to achieve their goals. And you can be a part of it. Heck, you will be integral to it.
You’ll join a small, collaborative software team made up of some of the brightest developers in the local area, who are pushing the boundaries of what they can do with .NET. You’ll be welcomed into the family and get involved in system architecture & design from week one. They are completely redeveloping their existing eCommerce site & adding in new features, as having a better, more customer-friendly website is what is going to help them drive growth.
This is what I’d call a 360 role, so you’ll be involved in every part of the software development lifecycle. You won’t just be doing your part & then handing it on to someone else – so you can really shine & be able visibly see where you’re adding value. As part of this role you will be working closely with key stakeholders throughout the business so you’ll also need to be a good communicator who is confident in their own ability.
This is a full-time, office-based role meaning you’ll need to live within commuting distance to apply. Luckily the company are in a great location in Leicester meaning it’s easily commutable by car from all over the East Midlands, plus there’s ample free parking so no need to spend half of your wages on a parking permit!
