This is a great opportunity for a commercial and tech savvy Executive or Account Manager to join an agile SaaS business in Nottingham who have a very impressive portfolio of globally recognised brands which continues to grow and evolve.
The Commercial Executive will play an important role on Key Account strategy, research and engagement with customers. You will help to drive business with the Sales and Commercial Product teams to improve customer engagement and grow new business across a number of channels including Linkedin and digital marketing.
With a background in SaaS or a passion for technology, you will be required to understand and communicate the benefits and USPs of a range of software products and services covering digital learning, games, software and multimedia.
While this is not a classic sales job as such, you will play a “midfield” sales role on key accounts as you support Account Managers in presenting technical knowledge of their solutions and products in a creative and engaging way. You will contribute to winning tender opportunities and take ownership of internal initiatives like process improvements, sales and market research and more. It would therefore be helpful to have a background using modern channels to find future prospects, build your network and engage with customers in a creative way to win business.
This is a perfect job for someone with a strong commercial background involving significant client interaction and providing technology and software-based solutions to clients. You will be someone who has strong analytical and presentation skills and is talented with verbal and written communications.
You could well be working in a digital marketing agency or other technical industry, but you must have a passion for tech. An exceptional academic background is important to this business so ideally you will have a 2:1 degree or higher to demonstrate this. Flexible home working will be considered but it is likely that you will need to be in the Nottingham office on average twice a week.
