Usually it’s an Analyst role, or Management Accounts role, badged up as something more.
This is a proper commercial job based in South Leicester. You will be able to make a difference from this position.
You will drive profitability in this role, you’ll drive pricing strategies, look at volume growth and drive margins forwards. You will quite simply add lots of achievements to your CV.
You will be the link for finance and the wider business. You will be partnering a range of stakeholders from account managers to pricing teams. You will work with these teams to continue driving new commercial strategies.
What does the future hold?
The hiring manager for this role is looking long term. It’s not about the next step in 18-24 months, but, also the step up after that in 4-5 years.
He holds progression and development of his team at the heart of how he recruits. He’s not looking for someone to just come in and do this job. He’s looking for someone in a few years who could have his job.
Covid has hit progression potential in a lot of businesses, but, here, it’s absolutely still there and a tailored programme will be in place to help you achieve your goals.
Currently they are mainly working from home, they’ve seen the benefits of this and it’s likely to be available 1-2 days a week when the world is back to normal too in the future.
Who is the hiring manager looking for?
He’s looking for someone with proven commercial experience. Exposure to pricing would be useful, or profitability analysis. CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified is also a must, as well as 2-3 years PQE minimum. He’ll be looking for a CV with a proven record of operating above and beyond.
