Since this business launched in early 2019, they have successfully built a trusted and respected brand with over 550k members with expectations for this to grow to more than 1 million members heading into 2022. Email marketing is the main way they engage their members each week - so they take enormous pride in ensuring that every campaign is as useful, interesting and engaging as possible.
This is where you come in because they need an experienced CRM Manager to help make a big impact in the way they engage with their members today. Your job will be to give each member the best possible experience and you will help them to be more tailored, relevant and useful to each individual. You will have a laser focus on results - constantly testing, improving and evolving what you do.
In this varied role you will be responsible for building and executing various weekly email campaigns. You will be trusted to deliver the most important communications sent to their members each week - and take ownership of improving how this is done.
Helping to manage and optimise automated emails will be important such as finding ways to improve onboarding emails or suggesting a new behavioural trigger email. You will be constantly running AB tests to find ways of improving performance. Primarily email but you can be proactive if you see other opportunities (e.g. landing page improvements, user journey, other marketing channels like Facebook and Google). You will also be involved in writing copy to support your marketing activities such as writing the content that engages members in automated emails and newsletters etc.
This opportunity would suit candidates with a blend of strategic, creative and analytical thinking and certainly a data-led approach. Technically, this job would suit people with experience working on a range of Email and CRM platforms such as Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, Blueshift.
Confidence working with data is crucial because you'll be processing/segmenting data in Excel and be analysing data to build the reports you need to measure performance. The ability to design and build HTML emails would also be very advantageous. You are not expected to have a degree in design, but you'll have a naturally keen eye for User Experience and be able to work autonomously to build and test a new layout, design or structure etc.
This job can be worked remotely as long as you are happy heading to London for key meetings (no more than once a month). Their employees are scattered across the UK so this will be a permanent way of working.
