You’ll be in a small finance team of 3. A Finance Director, a Management Accountant and You. The Management Accountant is fab. She handles all of the month end management. And does a great job at it.

You will be involved on the more commercial side. The business partnering. I say Business Partnering… it’s a team of 50 overall. They don’t really call it Business Partnering. They call it – advising John in Marketing on how you can support the commercial growth of the marketing function. You’ll talk to him in human terms and help improve his financial knowledge and awareness.

The position will suit someone who is great with people. John is a nice bloke, he wants a nice man or woman to support him from a finance angle. The position will suit someone qualified, CIMA/ACCA or ACA. The position can grow too, as the company continues to grow, this position will too. It’s definitely possible that you could be their FD in the future.

The Role:

• Drive budgeting and forecasting processes working with stakeholders across various functions in the business
• Commercial analysis looking at areas to drive growth
• KPI reporting and analysis into these results
• Drive process and system improvements
• Business Partnering – not just with John in Marketing.
• Trend analysis and review of business growth opportunities

Requirements:

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified
