Financial Accountant | Great for First Time Mover From Practice | Flexible Working

Are you currently working in practice and looking to make your first move in to industry? This is a brilliant opportunity to take that step in a role that is transferrable from the experience you have gained in your career to date. 

You'll get really good exposure with this opportunity. Reporting directly in to the Head of Finance, your role will have plenty of variety across technical accounting, analysis, management accounts and business partnering.

You don't need to have experience in all of the above but you'll need to have the attitude to learn and develop. If you're already working in industry, this could also be a great move if you're looking to broaden your experience.

The business have adopted a flexible working policy so if you're looking for 2 or 3 days home working in the long-term, the business will accomodate that. You will need to be in a position to commute to Nottingham City Centre for 2 days per week as a minimum.

ROLE OVERVIEW

• Support with month-end management accounts preparation 
• Technical accounting (IFRS, statutory reporting, corporation tax, year-end audit support)
• Budgeting and forecasting with analysis in to variances
• Financial modelling and scenario analysis
• Partnering with non-finance stakeholders to help them understand the financial impact of their decisions

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified
• Technical accounting background
• First time mover from practice or financial accounting background in industry
