It seems that every HR Manager role on the market now is the same. The usual day to day duties of leading a team, taking higher complexity ER cases, and supporting line managers with any HR related matter – WELL NOT THIS ONE!

Based in South Milton Keynes, this HR Manager opportunity will be to support the HR Director with global expansion plans! This will include rolling out strategic moves, creation of policies and contracts, owning the HR system and growing a team.

The HR Manager will receive a salary of up to £60,000 per annum plus benefits which will include generous holiday, equity scheme, bonus plan, pension, flexible and hybrid working as well as a top HR Director who will act as a mentor for future growth.


The key duties of the HR Manager will include but not be limited to:

-       Supporting the HR Director with the roll out of strategic plans

-       Create, review and re-write company contracts

-       Create and review company policies

-       Management of two HR Advisors

-       Business partnering across the business from junior leaders through to senior board and owners

-       Taking a lead on complex ER cases

-       Owning the HR System including upgrades, implementations, and processes

-       Reviewing the reward programme across the business

-       Reviewing and leading on company L&D programmes with senior leaders

-       Creation of meaningful and insightful HR MI and data to support future decisions

-       Ad hoc duties when required


The ideal HR Manager will:

-       Be able to commute to an area of Milton Keynes that isn’t serviced by a great public transport route

-       Have previously managed a team

-       Have strong experience of business partnering and can work with senior leaders

-       Be willing to roll sleeves up and get involved with both strategic and operational HR duties

-       Be a strong system user

-       Ideally have experience of driving and implementing change

The business are experiencing a very strong period of growth which is set to continue due to the innovative nature of the business and their products. Operating across the technology and retail markets, the business was not adversely affected by the pandemic and in fact has experienced a strong upturn in profitability and revenues. Due to the business being a relatively new organisation, they are now ready to take the business to the next level which includes global expansion, team expansion and the implementation of new processes, systems and models.
