A wonderful opportunity has arisen to be a part of a large HR team in a fantastic organisation based in Leicestershire as a HR Shared Service Team Leader. Joining this organisation in a growth period you’ll have sole responsibility for leading and supervising the day to day delivery of onboarding and people administration activities and providing extensive support to the service delivery function.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supervise the end to end HR operational activities for the UK
  • Ensure that employee data is processed via the HR System accurately and within timescales, ensuring the right information reaches payroll
  • Support the HR Shared Services Manager to ensure the delivery of a legally compliant and customer-focused service
  • Carry out HR project work including identifying and implementing employment processes for regulatory projects
  • Ad hoc support of service delivery activities including reward governance, annual salary review project work, researching and preparing papers where appropriate
  • Work closely with the resourcing team to ensure the best onboarding journey for prospective employees
  • Co-ordinate the workload of your HR team and meet agreed SLA’s

What you’ll be:

  • Proven experience of leading a team within a shared services HR environment from onboarding to exit and everything in-between
  • Proven experience in process design and management, service level agreements, and identification and production of management information
  • Proven experience of generation HR metrics and of using HR Information Systems
  • Experience in delivering HR administration and generalist HR services for a geographically dispersed organisation with multiple terms and conditions of employment
  • Experience in using HR Information systems
  • Proven experience of coaching and of training managers and knowledge of relevant legislation will be important
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders at a variety of levels
