This is a rare opportunity to join an ambitious Leicestershire based B2C start-up who are already on an impressive growth trajectory to help them get to the next level and become a household name.

This Marketing and Communications Manager position is a vital role for the company and is directly responsible for managing a marketing budget that directly relates to the business’s revenue. The position is responsible for orchestrating the marketing and communication department, including leading a team of digital marketers, content creators and PR, Social Media and communication specialists.

The role will be highly varied as you will be responsible for looking after B2C/B2B and driving revenue through subscriptions.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and developing a marketing and communications strategy, for all brands including B2C  and B2B sales and subscriptions. You will establish positioning and target audiences that brings the best possible ROI, profit and company growth
  • Manage the Marketing budget for the company by analysing and investing in strategies and campaigns that deliver the best results and profits
  • Review, track and analyse all Marketing and PR activity to help improve future growth and generate sales and the best ROI within budget
  • Lead and inspire a small marketing team to ensure they are productive, well directed and achieving key objectives
  • Research and keep up to date on competitors and the latest trends and use this information to help improve the Marketing strategy, including looking for ‘Growth Hacking’ opportunities
  • Have an understanding of SEO, ranking factors and google algorithms in order to drive the company’s SEO rankings higher
  • Develop an e-marketing strategy and manage the creation of newsletters in various forms to maximise engagement and conversion rates
  • Manage and develop the content creation team, ensuring that all content, including photography, videography, graphic design and copy, meets brand guidelines and objectives for all advertising, social media and communications

This job would suit an experienced and creative Marketing Manager who has an innovative approach to their work and the ability and confidence to manage, lead and develop a team.

An understanding of all aspects of digital marketing including SEO, paid for facebook and google marketing would be an advantage. You must have an excellent understanding of how to manage and utilise a marketing budget to ensure targets are exceeded without overspending. It is therefore vital that we find someone that is driven and knows how to get results from their team. Communication is key as well as knowing how to analyse data to decide where it’s best to invest the budget.
