£24,000 - £26,000

Maternity Leave Cover – 9 months

In this role as a Personal Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting of a broad range of day-to-day tasks and projects with the goal to alleviate pressure and free up time for a busy individual. It is essential that you are equally comfortable dealing with business-related tasks and minutes. The role requires you to be resourceful, to find solutions, to be supportive.

You really are meticulously organised, and you are quick to learn how to use new apps. You’re able to work on your own initiative and pre-empt and second guess the requirements and needs of others.

The role will be very varied, so the ability to be flexible whilst working under pressure and to tight deadlines is a must. Ongoing tasks will include:

  • Attending leadership and board meetings, taking minutes, establishing agendas, ensuring completion of action points 
  • Support with the production of a range of reports and presentations for the CEO
  • Support with the management of CEO and Director diaries, including management of conflicts
  • Working alongside the EA to support the strategic and operational plans of the business
  • Organising events, workshops, large meetings, virtual meetings
  • Producing and creating briefing packs to present to board and leadership teams
  • Providing weekly updates as requested by the CEO and other board members
  • General administrative duties – Holidays, sickness, expenses, mileage, gifts and hospitality capturing, CPD, etc.
  • Prioritise conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively and follow through on projects with the EA to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • experience of working in a similar role
  • Strong Microsoft office skills
  • Very strong communication skills
  • Strong emotional intelligence
  • Advanced presentation and reporting skills
  • The ability to manage their own workload
  • The ability to work well on their own and as part of the team
