We are supporting a well-established business in Central Milton Keynes to recruit a Payroll Clerk. This role will suit somebody with a good knowledge of payroll processing and looking to challenge themselves further. 

Payroll Clerk Responsibilities:

  • Running the monthly/weekly payroll for multiple clients
  • Deducting tax and national insurance payments, and calculating net pay
  • Processing holiday, sick and maternity pay
  • Submitting relevant forms to HMRC prior to the deadline
  • Answering queries
  • Issuing P45s and other tax forms
  • Ensuring compliance with work place pension and auto-enrolment duties
  • Preparation and submission of CIS returns

Payroll Clerk Requirements:

  • Payroll Background
  • Good communicator via the telephone, e-mail, or letter
  • Flexible, adaptable and somebody who can work well under pressure and deal with high volumes and tight deadlines
  • Outlook, EXCEL and Word and confident using similar payroll systems
