We are looking for a passionate and ambitious Procurement Manager to join a business based in the East Midlands. 

There’s a real desire to shift from a transactional approach to procurement, to a strategic and category driven function.  

It’s a balance of hands on delivery, and strategic development – perfect if you like the best of both worlds. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing direct spend of circa £10m.
• Leadership and development of a team of 5, including coaching and upskilling on procurement best practice. 
• Developing strategic category plans .
• Development of best practice procurement process including supplier performance benchmarks, processes and systems, and global spend development. 

Future prospects look positive. Long term, you’ll have opportunity to grow and develop your team, capture and manage spend for international operations, and manage an additional indirect spend of c.£10m. 

As well as this, you’ll be working in a team headed up by an ambitious director who will be keen develop a future director.

CIPS / MCIPS would be ideal.
