A company in Leicestershire are looking for a Purchasing Administrator/Inventory Controller to join their team on a 12-month FTC. From raising purchase orders, dealing with suppliers to stock management – this role has all the variety you need to keep you on your toes.
Day to day you will be responsible for managing stock availability, resolving invoice queries, and expediting outstanding orders on a weekly basis. You will need to be proactive in reducing out of stocks and monitoring supplier performances.
You will need to be an experienced supply chain/purchasing professional, with the drive and hunger to make continuous improvements. You will also need to have great communication and be a strong team player. Whilst MS Excel experience is essential for this role, SAP experience is highly preferable but could be taught.
