A business in Nottingham is on the lookout for a Purchasing Manager to join their team. Working closely with the Operations Manager, it will be your responsibility to ensure an efficient and effective procurement function. This business has had 20% growth this year, so you’ll be going into an environment perfect for your personal development.
Day to day you’ll be identifying products and services for purchasing, verifying the key suppliers, monitoring and forecasting inventory as well as managing the procurement budget. This role will give you the variety you need to keep you on your toes.
For this role you will need to have a solid purchasing background with experience of managing budgets and costs. Good understanding of supply chain procedures including freight forwarding is important for the role. You will also need to be comfortable using Advanced Excel.
