We’re thrilled to be working exclusively with a growing business as they look to build the foundations for a new recruitment function. You’ll have an ATS, so hopefully won’t be working with too many spreadsheets, and will be focused on delivering a recruitment service for permanent hires coming into the business. You’ll be tasked with building relationships with key stakeholders and establishing robust recruitment processes to enable a more effective and experience focused service.
There will be variety as you will be working on entry level roles through to management and across a number of functions and locations. As part of the attraction strategy, the Recruitment Advisor will maximise the profile of the business through appropriate social platforms and job boards, as well as taking part in recruitment events and establishing trusting relationships with agency partners. As far as screening and selection goes, you’ll need to be comfortable leading the way on assessment centres (don’t worry if you’ve not led on them before though), interviewing and facilitating aptitude or psychometric testing.
While the role will have a fixed base location, there may some travel to remote sites on occasion.
Who is our client looking for?
Ideally, someone with a mix of internal and agency experience but we’re not limiting ourselves so please apply if you’re from either background. Experience of recruiting a variety of roles in a more generalist recruitment role previously is more likely to lend itself well, as opposed to a specialist background given the varied nature of the business’ operations. A vibrant personality, straight talking approach and ability to build effective relationships quickly with senior stakeholders is essential.
