Are you a senior HR Business Partner excited by the prospect of bringing in a new look HR function in a post-acquisition environment? Now part of an exciting international organisation, the UK business requires a senior HR leader to provide tactical HR support on an interim basis, with a view to taking on the strategic delivery in the long term.

Up to £75,000

Reporting into the European HR Director, the Senior HR Business Partner will lead the UK HR function, working closely with the Centres of Excellence to deliver an effective HR service. The short-term requirement of the postholder will be to de-risk the business and work with business leaders to ensure as close to full operational capability as possible during a period of mitigating circumstances.

Longer term, the business has growth aspirations so the Senior HR Business Partner will work towards implementing HR initiatives to underpin the performance and growth objective - key areas of focus will be policy and process development, talent development, performance and capability, employee engagement and employee relations. Cultural development and the weaving of the business’ values into new initiatives will be key to the success of the UK HR team.

What are they looking?

You’ll be results driven HR leader with strong employment law knowledge, excellent communication skills and be able to prioritise your workload in a fast paced, lean environment. Experience in a matrixed or international organisation would be preferred, as would experience working in an engineering or technical manufacturing environment.
