A business in Leicestershire is on the lookout for a Supply Chain Analyst to support by looking for opportunities to improve efficiency of the business and reduce cost. This role can be very flexible when it comes to WFH/office balance, although you will need to attend key meetings in the office.
Day to day you will be responsible for analysing data and producing reports on ways to streamline current business processes. Initially you will be reviewing and driving improvement to their new distribution function, with the longer-term view of supporting the wider supply chain network.
There will also be elements of commercial support where you will manage daily metrics, review any actions/progress made, and coordinate updates from all areas of the business. As a result, you will need to have experience of dealing with customers/suppliers.
You will need to have strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail, along with being confident using Power Point and advanced MS Excel. Knowledge of ERP systems and report writing tools is also needed for this role.
