Culture is such a hard thing to describe but honestly on walking into the office here I felt it immediately. Warmth, energy, collaborative and that wasn't just because of the chats I had around the bean to cup coffee maker!
Given the flood of companies in the market looking for a Talent Acquisition partner you are probably asking yourself so what makes this any different? It’s a combination of a brilliant role, fantastic leader and an organisation where you really are considered family.
So the role, the growth over the last 12 months has been three fold so you can imagine, delivery on recruitment has never been more important but they treat their culture like gold so finding character over credentials is critical. Let’s be honest especially in talent wars for tech & data folk you’ll be adding value being the best brand ambassador they have into the market. Then there’s the added value around the whole resourcing agenda, assessments, interviewing techniques, ATS, compliance the list goes on for shaping the foundations and making the resourcing agenda the best in class.
Who will I be working for? The best way to describe your leader is to think about someone who is going to give you all the autonomy to deliver whilst offering support and guidance as needed but trust and empowerment to get the job done well. Want to do drop off - no problem core hours means you don’t need to be 9-5 just been there when you need to be.
Finally the business, fair to say the last 18 months we’ve all had time to reflect on what’s important. If it’s important to work for a business that really does give back to those giving the most you're there. Growing, agile and yet still calling people “part of the family” you get the opportunity to shape and change with the business. Don’t get me started on the great environment when you get to the office, you have to see it to know.
So yes I know there are plenty of options for recruiters, talent acquisition, resourcing professionals out there in the market just now but if you want to do something really special you won’t want to miss this one.
