James Hales.

Director | Marketing Recruitment

James recruits for the mid-to-senior market at salaries of 30K and above for roles such as: Head of Marketing, Digital Marketing Managers, PR Managers and Communications Managers.

I joined Distinct before we even had an office, or a name come to think of it! After I met with James & Arran to discuss what they were looking to do, I jumped at the chance to be involved in something new and it’s fantastic to have been here since day one. I joined to head up our Marketing division, I knew it had the potential to be an amazing journey and so far it hasn't disappointed.

Lauren Hulme.

PR / Comms & Creative Consultant

Lauren is our Design and Communications Specialist; she recruits for Digital/Graphic Designers as well as more traditional marketing Assistant/Executive roles and PR & Comms.

Lauren joined us in 2017, having worked in Marketing for the previous 6 years. Lauren actually registered with us as a candidate, but she wanted something a little different. We thought she was great, so we offered her a job and the rest is history! Given her background and deep knowledge of the marketing sector, you’ll be in safe hands with Lauren, whether you’re a hiring manager looking to recruit or you’re looking for a new role yourself.

Jack Rowland.

Digital Marketing Consultant

Jack is our Digital Marketing Specialist and looks after everything from SEO/PPC to Social and CRM. He recruits in the junior-to-mid market of roles up to 30K, specifically within the East Midlands alongside Lauren.

Jack joined Distinct in 2018 after spending the previous two years teaching English in China and Colombia. Prior to that, he’d worked in Marketing recruitment. His knowledge of the sector combined with the fact that he’s a top bloke meant it was a no brainer to bring him on board. Not only is Jack a quality recruiter, he’s also become a bit of an internet sensation with his regular LinkedIn videos and selfie stick!
