Having watched Distinct being set up from the sidelines in their first year of trading, I was excited by the brand and reputation they had built in such a short space of time. After 6 years in recruitment, I was ready for a new challenge and Distinct presented itself as the perfect opportunity. HR is such a people-centric discipline, and my inquisitive mind is always interested to see how people operate and behave, what drives them to succeed and how to get the best out of them. Becky is currently on maternity leave.

I had already worked with the team at Distinct previously and there was never any doubt in my mind I’d find the right values and vision for me here. Coming back after maternity leave, I had the opportunity to join team HR and I jumped at the chance. Having recruited since I left NTU as a graduate in 2004, I have specialised in Finance and HR recruitment across the East Midlands. HR has always been a passion for me, I’m fascinated by the depth & breadth of challenges of people at work. From me, you can expect a seasoned recruiter with hallmarks that include integrity, diligence, approachability, and trust.

Having previously worked in our Office Support recruitment team, I returned from maternity leave and was given the opportunity to join team HR and I haven’t looked back. In this role, I look after mid-level roles across Leicestershire and London, such as HR Advisors, Assistants, and Talent Acquisition Specialists on a permanent and interim basis; I’m enjoying getting to know this market and developing candidate & client relationships.
