I believe the scope of Procurement and Supply Chain is huge. What used to be a transactional cost centre has become a real value-add and a sales-enabler to organisations. I enjoy seeing the impact that our candidates can have in an organisation, particularly within SMEs who perhaps find it more difficult to attract and attain the right people for their businesses. I find that skillsets are continually developing and it’s exciting to work with an industry that isn’t standing still.
Over the last 3 and a half years, we have grown our business to become preferred suppliers to a range of blue-chip clients, including: Boots, Next, JCB, Refresco, Vision Express, Wilko, and BCM; as well as working with a range of SMEs across the region.
We’re currently looking for experienced consultants to join us. The plan is to grow the team in the East Midlands, and then focus on growth across the UK and internationally. Supply Chain is huge, and we believe there’s a real opportunity for Distinct to be the leader in this area.

I’ve been part of Distinct from the beginning. Having worked in recruitment for 6 years prior, there was a feeling in recruitment that the industry as a whole was starting to lack in human elements. Chris started his recruitment career in our Office Support division. He recently joined the Supply Chain & Procurement team, looking after roles up to 30K across the East Midlands
Chris is our resident sporting hero, having won a table tennis tournament in Menorca when he was 12. He is also a massive Derby County fan; he is used to taking a bit of stick in the office.
