Louise’s natural curiosity about people led her to pursue a BSc in Psychology from Nottingham Trent University. After graduating, she followed her passion for people into HR but soon discovered her flair for recruitment. Recruitment offered her the opportunity to focus on team dynamics and wellbeing in a faster-paced environment that fosters team camaraderie.
Leveraging nearly 20 years of recruitment experience, Louise specialises in mid to senior level HR jobs on both a permanent and interim basis across the Midlands. As Talent Acquisition Director, her commitment to putting people first makes her a valued member of the Distinct team.

Having hosted and led numerous HR networking events over the last 10 years, Louise excels in bringing like-minded people together. Her expert knowledge allows her to share market insights, helping customers make informed and confident decisions. A career highlight was recruiting for Nottingham Trent University as an alum. She was delighted to work with their HR Director, sourcing professionals for their team during a period of transformation.
Outside of work, Louise is regularly spotted on a Watt bike at the gym, or at the various wine tasting events in Nottingham – for the educational benefit, of course. She is a proud member of St Saviours Church which she regularly attends with her family.
