Finance Director | Listed PLC, multi-division, commercially driven | ACCA Qualified
This candidate is a highly accomplished Finance Director with a career built across Big 4 audit, listed PLCs and large, complex multi-division businesses. Currently serving as Group Finance Director within a listed, specialist industrial group, they lead a sizeable finance function spanning shared services, transactional finance, M&A, commercial finance and financial control.
They have operated at board level throughout their career, acting as a trusted business partner to PLC Boards, Chief Operating Officers and external investors. Their track record spans major restructures, debt refinancing, M&A execution, shared service transformation and full P&L ownership — always with a sharp focus on returns, commercial performance and operational excellence.
Prior to their current role, they held senior finance positions at one of the UK’s largest trade distribution businesses, leading M&A activity, capital approval processes and Group strategy reviews. They combine the rigour of a traditional audit background with the pace and commercial edge of a listed business environment.
