This candidate would bring strong, hands-on reward expertise and a highly pragmatic mindset to an organisation’s Reward & Remuneration Review.
With 20 years in HR and a clear specialism in reward, they combine technical depth with a grounded, delivery-focused approach. Their experience spans large, complex organisations such as Experian, through to building reward from the ground up in newly created roles and fast-scaling environments. As Group Head of Reward for a large group of companies, this candidate built the reward strategy for c12,000 employees, covering base pay, job architecture, grading frameworks, pensions, benefits implementation and variable pay design. They are particularly strong in reward audits, equal pay analysis, benchmarking and job levelling, and are highly self-sufficient in data gathering and competitor analysis.
This candidate is used to operating within tight budgets and margin-led businesses, finding creative, sustainable solutions rather than “gold-plated” designs. Relationship-driven and collaborative, they work closely with stakeholders to understand what really matters at the frontline, translating insight into practical recommendations that land well culturally.
