The Role – What You’ll Do
This is a client-facing role, combining both audit and accounts responsibilities. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses with turnovers typically ranging from £1m to £50m+ across a broad mix of industries.
Key Duties
- Lead and execute audit assignments, often on-site with clients.
- Prepare statutory accounts under UK GAAP.
- Review work of junior team members and provide mentoring.
- Draft corporation tax computations and liaise with tax teams as required.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure deadlines are met.
- Participate in internal training and process improvements.
What They’re Looking For
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Experience in audit and accounts within a UK practice environment.
- Confident communicator with the ability to lead client interactions.
- Technically proficient with up-to-date knowledge of FRS 102 and audit regulations.
- Committed to ongoing development and keen to take on increased responsibility.
