Are you looking for a role with a clear progression pathway? This Audit Manager position could be the perfect opportunity for you. Based in London, near Regents Park Station, this position offers a flexible hybrid approach with at least 3 days in the office and a 35-hour workweek.

Role overview

Manage a portfolio with turnovers up to £200m
Oversee the audit process from planning to completion and review the audit team’s work
Review corporation tax returns, including capital allowances computations
Train junior staff and provide feedback
Assist with ad hoc assignments such as cash flow forecasts or due diligence reports
Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role

About you

ACA / ACCA Qualified
2 years post-qualification experience
Previous audit experience in an accountancy practice
Confident with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong client liaison skills across different sectors
Team player with analytical skills and attention to detail
Up-to-date with auditing and accounting standards (FRS102 and IFRS), company law
Good tax knowledge, especially corporation tax, VAT, and payroll taxes
Initiative, judgment, and ownership of issues
Computer literate (knowledge of CCH, Proaudit, Mercia audit programme is advantageous)
Able to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines
