Job description

A firm based in the heart of London who make sure their accountants feel appreciated and valued. 

If that’s something you’re not used to but like the sound of, then keep reading…. 

Offering opportunities to sidestep into similar titles but also exposure to higher level responsibilities. 

The partners at this firm are extremely supportive and approachable and ensure regular PAD reviews, setting and talking about objectives to ensure people are ready for promotions. Assistant managers are exposed to Manager responsibility.

Salary & benefits
  • 35-hour working week with flexibility around core hours of 10am – 4pm
  • Working from home up to 3 days a week
  • Paid overtime or time in lieu

Role overview
  • work with our expansive and varied client base, including a number of large corporate clients and groups with turnover up to £500m
  • lead the statutory audit engagement, from planning through to completion and will also be involved in the preparation and review of group and single entity financial statements
  • work alongside the Partners and Managers to deliver advisory work including, preparation of financial forecast models, business plans, reporting on internal controls, financial due diligence and other ad hoc projects
  • build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, being a key client contact
  • supervise, coach and develop the audit team
  • benefit from investment in coaching and developing you, with one-to-one support from the Manager and Partner team
About you

We’d like to hear from you if you have previous experience in accountancy practice, specifically Audit within the UK. Alongside exam part qualified or Qualified (ACA or ACCA).
