We’re partnering with a highly respected organisation to recruit a Finance Support Officer to join their established Accounts Receivable team. You’ll primarily manage a commercial sales ledger, building strong customer relationships, resolving queries and driving cash collection, whilst also supporting the wider Accounts Receivable function when required.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing your own commercial sales ledger
- Chasing outstanding debt by telephone, email and written correspondence
- Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Resolving payment queries
- Escalating more complex cases where appropriate
- Supporting the wider Accounts Receivable team during busy periods
- Helping improve collection performance and customer service
What we’re looking for
You’ll ideally have previous experience within:
- Credit Control
- Accounts Receivable
- Sales Ledger
You’ll also be someone who:
- Enjoys building relationships
- Is confident speaking with customers over the telephone
- Takes ownership of their workload
- Has excellent communication skills
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive team
- Is organised, proactive and customer focused
