It’s likely you will be looking for an opportunity to move away from the month-end management accounting routine into a role that will allow you to partner with high-level stakeholders where you’ll have a direct impact on driving commercial decisions.
You’ll need to have an inquisitive nature for the role. It’s not just a case of sending your piece of analysis and leaving it for your stakeholders to make decisions – you’ll need to develop a deep understanding of the business to be able to help drive commercial performance.
The role has come about because of an internal promotion within the team which is a good indication that there are plenty of opportunities for future progression.
You’ll own the monthly and quarterly trading updates, engaging with stakeholders inside and outside the company. Additionally, you’ll coordinate the monthly and quarterly executive meetings, forecasts, budgets, and the 3-year plan. This role is important, requiring collaboration with top leaders in the company.
You will have previous exposure to budgets and business planning. Finally, you will be proactive and committed to your career as you look to continuously progress and learn.
SALARY & BENEFITS
- Salary range: £55,000 to £60,000
- Bonus scheme: 10% to 20% of salary
- Matched Pension Scheme
- 25 days holiday + Bank holidays (also have the option to buy / sell up to 5 days)

ABOUT YOU
- CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified
- Experience of working in a commercially focused finance role
