Location: Hybrid – 3 days on-site (Office in Derby + Depot in Derby and Depot in Nottingham)
Salary: £45,646 to £51,351 (DOE) + 34 Days Holiday + Defined Benefit Pension + Free Rail Travel for You and a Plus One
Are you a commercially minded Finance Business Partner who thrives on building relationships and driving real business impact? We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to play a key role in supporting fleet operations – an area that accounts for nearly half of total business costs.
The Role:
As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll go beyond the numbers—engaging directly with fleet teams across service delivery centres. You’ll be the bridge between finance and operations, ensuring financial insights shape decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with fleet and engineering teams to provide accurate financial analysis.
- Delivering management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Engaging directly with depot teams—being visible, accessible, and proactive.
- Translating complex financial information for a range of stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring:
- A professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or actively studying).
- The ability to challenge, question, and look beyond the numbers.
- Strong stakeholder management skills – adaptable communication is key.
- A proactive approach – you’ll be hands-on, collaborative, and keen to engage.
- The confidence to manage multiple priorities, especially around year-end.
