Financial Accountant – PE-Backed Business – Nottingham
One day a week on site
A private equity-backed business is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their Nottingham-based finance team. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role offers exposure to M&A activity, financial integration, and process improvement in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

The Role:
As Financial Accountant, you’ll be responsible for:
- Preparing accurate monthly management accounts
- Cash flow forecasting and reporting
- Collaborating on M&A integrations (c.7 acquisitions per year)
- Maintaining financial controls, reconciliations, and reporting
- Enhancing processes and systems to support business growth
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
- Proactive mindset with excellent communication skills
