Job description

This role is dynamic and hands-on, offering support, training, and learning opportunities within the legal cashier role.

Responsibilities:

– Inputting financial entries into accounts database (Access Legal Fusion) and maintaining ledgers.
– Month-end and year-end duties, including report building and distribution, VAT returns, and other HMRC submissions.
– Reconciliation of bank statements and supplier accounts, with housekeeping for office credit and debtor balances.
– Processing electronic and cheque payments.

Salary & benefits
  • 23 days holiday, increasing by 1 day from the start of each calendar year to a maximum of 25.  In addition, +1 to be taken on or around your birthday and +1 concessionary day within the Christmas holiday period

About you
Requirements:

– Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role or equivalent.
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
– Excellent time-management skills.
– Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
– Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
– Effective communication and daily workload planning.
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
– Familiarity with SRA Accounts Rules and VAT principles.
– Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Foxit PDF Editor (preferred).
