A new opportunity has come in to join a successful business based in Bedfordshire on a permanent basis. This is a growing business who have plans for further growth over the next 5 years.
This role is a great opportunity for someone studying (although it is open to those who are not studying but have a lot of experience) ACCA/CIMA. You will work alongside an experienced Finance Manager who will show you the ropes and be there with you on a daily basis. There are also others in the business who are currently studying/qualified for help and guidance. The company offer full study support too for ACCA or CIMA.
Your role will involve full management accounts production (training will be given), there is no ledger level work involved as there are separate people doing this. The company are looking for someone who enjoys improving processes and procedures/adding value as they have various projects coming up to do this. This is an opportunity to really make a difference and add value. You will form part a small finance team so will be a key go-to for all things finance.
This role offers 1 day per week working from home and very flexible hours e.g. early starts/early finish, condensed hours etc so if you have hobbies outside of work or school/ nursery drops etc this could work for you.
Working hours are 40 hours, the company believe in work life balance and don’t ask for over this.
You will need recent experience with Finance basics – Journals, accruals and prepayments for this role.
