Payroll Manager and Finance Coordinator

Do you enjoy payroll and want a role where you can truly own it?
We’re working with a growing manufacturing business looking for an experienced Payroll and Finance Coordinator to take responsibility for their monthly payroll following its recent move back in-house.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become the payroll expert within the business whilst joining a friendly, supportive finance team.
The Role
Initially, the role will be around 60% payroll and 40% Accounts Payable, moving towards a 50/50 split over time.
Payroll duties include:
- End-to-end monthly payroll.
- Payroll calculations.
- Shift enhancements.
- Holiday calculations.
- Payroll queries.
- Process improvements.
The finance side will initially focus on Accounts Payable, with the opportunity to develop into wider finance responsibilities if this interests you.
Equally, if payroll is your passion and you don’t want finance responsibilities, the business is happy to consider this as a part-time payroll-only position for the right person.
About You
You’ll have:
- End-to-end payroll experience.
- Confidence with payroll calculations.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive approach.
- A genuine passion for payroll.
Finance experience isn’t essential—all finance duties can be taught. Payroll expertise is the key requirement.
