Location: Pinxton, Nottingham
Pay rate: £13.70 –   £14.25 per hour
 
Role overview
  • Employment Documentation: Draft contracts of employment and offer letters for new starters, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Onboarding Process: Support the onboarding process for new starters, including completing necessary paperwork, conducting background compliance checks, and facilitating engaging onboarding sessions.
  • Offboarding Management: Manage the offboarding process for leavers, ensuring a seamless transition and compliance with company protocols.
  • Employee Queries: Address ad hoc queries relating to the employment lifecycle, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Support to Managers and Employees: Assist people managers and employees with HR-related queries, offering guidance and support as needed.
  • Employee Communications: Collaborate with the HR BP & HR Advisor to ensure accurate and timely employee communications, keeping all staff informed and engaged.
  • Generalist Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support, including managing the HR inbox with the HR team, answering queries, processing reference requests, and allocating more complex issues to the appropriate team member.
  • Document and Meeting Support: Assist the HR team in creating documents and presentations, setting up meetings or training sessions, taking detailed notes, and conducting research as required.
About you
  • Previous experience in an HR administrative role or similar position
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
