Job description

Do you enjoy being hands-on and having autonomy? Do you have experience in manufacturing SMEs?

A manufacturing business in Newark is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to support with demand planning, supply planning and procurement of goods. You’ll be implementing their new S&OP process and driving the business forwards as they grow.

Salary & benefits
Package: Circa £50-60k DOE

Day to day you’ll be responsible for:
 
  • Developing and maintaining demand forecasts across all product lines.
  • Analyse forecast demand and market changes or trends.
  • Negotiating with suppliers on prices.
  • Liaising with suppliers on lead times and risk mitigation.
  • Maintain inventory KPI’s and reporting.
  • Manage regularly scheduled S&OP meetings.
  • Create and drive continuous improvement.
About you
Confident communication will be key as you’ll be liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders daily. Analytical and MS Excel skills is also important as you’ll need to be very data driven and focused.

Ideally, you’ll have experience working with electronic components. Other technical manufacturing fields will also be considered.
