What is exclusivity?
Exclusivity means working with us as your sole recruitment partner. Working with one dedicated point of contact throughout your recruitment process rather than engaging with multiple agencies to provide candidates at the same time for the same position.  As an exclusive client of Distinct, you’ll be supported at every step. From an initial job briefing meeting, through to candidate identification and attraction, interview organisation, feedback, offer management and onboarding. 

This is dependent and driven by you. Most of our clients agree to work with us for a minimum of one month. For certain campaigns, such as executive search and selection, the process can take longer.

Once we start working with any new client (or if we haven’t worked with you for a while) we will send over our most up-to-date terms for you to review and agree upon. We also offer a no-obligation two-week advanced exclusivity trial for permanent vacancies and just one week for temp or interim vacancies. This means if you are not happy with our service after this time, you won’t be tied into working with us for the rest of your campaign.

No. In fact, in terms of value for money, many of our clients prefer to work with us exclusively. This is because the price is the same as working with us on a non-exclusive basis, but they also receive access to a range of additional benefits.

As well as having the choice of a range of additional benefits, including an extended rebate period, staged payment terms and access to psychometric assessment tools. Our clients also save vital time during the hiring process.

From receiving your brief to a candidate accepting your offer, on average it takes 30 working days to fill your exclusive vacancy.

Finally, these campaigns are proven to get results. Where clients use us exclusively, 98.8% of candidates placed are still in post after three months.
