Job description

Overview:

Looking to move away from BigLaw but nervous about working on less sophisticated matters?

Or are you looking to join a meritocracy where partner track is in your own hands?

This is your solution.

Firm overview:

A DC-based government contracts boutique providing full-service support to government contractors is looking to hire a number of associates.

Founded by ex-BigLaw partners, the firm routinely handles sophisticated matters, meaning you won’t be taking a step back on the complexity of your work.

Built on the principles of wanting to break the BigLaw mould, the firm has an excellent work-life balance. Billable hour requirements are 1850  (100 pro-bono hours count towards this).

You’ll be invested in and developed, with hands-on mentoring from senior partners. It’s a meritocracy, so you’ll have a defined path to partner that is in your control.

You’ll be working on complex matters including:

  • Bid disputes and protests (including prosecuting and defending claims before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, GAO, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit)
  • FCA claims and investigations.
  • Regulatory compliance.

Required experience:

3+ years of GovCon experience is essential. This can be across regulatory, bid disputes and protests, FCA litigation, M&A, corporate, etc.

Compensation:

Typical salary range for this position is $180,000 – $270,000, depending on experience.

To find out more:

If you’ve fallen out of love with your firm but love practicing in the GovCon space, let’s chat.

If you’d like to know more about this position, just hit the apply button, and I’ll be in touch. If you’re just browsing our website and would like to have a chat first, feel free to reach out to me first. My contact details are [email protected] / 857-365-0545
