Key Responsibilities:
- Represent insurance carriers, insureds, and self-insured entities in litigation matters
- Manage a caseload of insurance defense files, including general liability, premises liability, motor vehicle, and professional liability claims
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefs with precision and timeliness
- Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials as needed
- Provide strategic legal counsel to clients and ensure proactive case management
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve efficient and effective outcomes
Qualifications:
Required:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in CT
- Minimum 2–4 years of litigation or insurance defense experience
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases independently and meet deadlines
