Position: Commercial Litigation Attorney
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid)
Overview:
A well-established, full-service law firm in Philadelphia is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its growing litigation team. This expansion comes on the heels of exciting new business, offering a strong pipeline of diverse commercial matters.
This is a prime opportunity for an attorney seeking hands-on litigation and trial experience, while working across a broad range of industries and legal issues. The role offers the resources of a full-service firm, combined with the agility and collaboration of a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a wide variety of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, shareholder issues, and other complex civil cases.
- Manage all phases of litigation from pleadings, discovery, and motion practice to trial and appeals.
- Represent clients in court appearances, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.
- Draft legal documents including complaints, motions, and briefs.
- Work closely with clients on litigation strategy, risk analysis, and case development.
- Collaborate with partners and associates across practice groups.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active Pennsylvania Bar membership required.
- New Jersey Bar membership is a strong plus.
- 2–6 years of commercial litigation experience preferred.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in gaining meaningful trial experience.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary range: $140,000 – $225,000, commensurate with experience.
