A leading law firm is seeking an associate with 4–5 years of business litigation experience to join its Commercial Litigation Practice Group in Detroit.
The successful candidate will be a persuasive legal writer and oral advocate with substantial experience handling complex business litigation in state and federal courts. Core responsibilities include:
- Managing written and document discovery
- Researching and drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings
- Conducting and defending depositions
- Preparing witnesses for testimony
- Appearing for status conferences and arguing motions in state and federal court
Experience with trial preparation, settlement conferences, and negotiations is preferred.

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active membership and good standing with the Michigan Bar

Compensation:
