A leading law firm in Northern Virginia is seeking a talented and motivated junior Community Association Attorney to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney with 1-4 years of experience who is looking to build a rewarding career in a thriving legal practice.
About the Role:
As a Community Association Attorney, you will represent condominium unit owner associations, homeowner associations, and housing cooperative entities in a broad range of legal matters.
This includes advising on governance issues, compliance, and transactional matters, as well as handling community association-related litigation. You will be responsible for disputes involving residential and commercial condominiums, homeowner associations, and housing cooperatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in litigation, mediation, and administrative proceedings related to community association matters
- Provide legal guidance on governing documents, bylaws, and regulatory compliance
- Draft and review contracts, policies, and legal opinions
- Attend association board meetings and provide training to association leadership
Qualifications:
- Active Virginia bar license
- 2-4 years of experience in community association law, real estate law, or litigation
