Construction Attorney
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid)
Salary: $125,000 – $215,000
Overview:
A prestigious, confidential law firm in Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Construction Attorney to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with broad construction law experience to work with a wide range of clients, including both small businesses and larger corporations. The firm offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing flexibility while still requiring occasional in-office presence. The right candidate will have strong construction law expertise, solid litigation experience, and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in construction-related disputes, including contract issues, construction defects, delays, and safety violations.
- Provide legal counsel to clients on risk management, compliance with regulations, and contract negotiations.
- Handle all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, and trial preparation.
- Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations related to construction matters.
- Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, settlement agreements, motions, and legal briefs.
- Provide strategic advice to clients on navigating complex construction law matters and resolving disputes effectively.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to deliver comprehensive legal services to clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Pennsylvania Bar is required.
- Broad construction law experience is essential, with a strong focus on construction defense.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience, including managing cases through all stages of litigation.
- NJ Bar membership is preferred, but not essential.
