This role is ideal for a motivated attorney with 2–10+ years of experience handling professional liability, medical malpractice, or general liability litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent professionals, insurers, and institutions in liability defense matters
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including depositions, discovery, and motions practice
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, memoranda, and settlement agreements
- Conduct legal research and case analysis
- Attend hearings, arbitrations, and trials as needed
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff
Required:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active Pennsylvania Bar license
- 2–10+ years of litigation experience, with a focus on professional liability or related areas
- Excellent legal writing, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently
Preferred:
- Experience with medical malpractice or errors & omissions (E&O) litigation
- Trial or arbitration experience
