This is an opportunity to join one of one of the most innovative data driven marketing and advertising firms in New York. They are a media planning and buying agency with a wide variety of clients covering an impressive range of well-known brands. This job would be perfect if you have a solid background in paid social media (Meta etc) with a thorough knowledge of advanced analytics and performance media.

This firm offers hybrid working with 3 days a week in the office and from Independence Day to Labor Day they have WFH Thursdays so you will only be in the office twice a week during the summer and unlimited PTO time.

Salary & benefits

Role overview
The Paid Social Planner will be will be responsible for five key areas:

Campaign Management & Execution – 45%
  • Lead end-to-end media buys, including RFPs, partner negotiations, targeting, optimization, pacing, and reporting.
  • Oversee campaign setup, QA processes, trafficking, and tagging to ensure flawless execution and measurement.
  • Liaise with creative agencies and internal teams to manage specs, materials, reconciliation, and billing.
  • Monitor campaign performance, proactively address issues, and ensure full delivery and functionality across platforms.
Social Media Strategy – 10%
  • Collaborate on strategic social plans alongside Digital & Business Solutions, integrating data and insights into planning.
  • Partner with internal teams to drive 360 media solutions and participate in brainstorms and plan development.
  • Stay current on paid social trends and create media plans and strategy documents that align with business objectives.
Reporting & Analysis – 30%
  • Lead campaign analysis and optimization, turning data into actionable recommendations aligned with client goals.
  • Collaborate with Analytics teams on dashboards, trackers, and standardized data processes across accounts.
  • Provide clear reporting throughout campaign lifecycle, drawing business conclusions and identifying opportunities.
Relationship Management – 10%
  • Actively communicate with partners and internal teams to align on deliverables, solve problems, and strengthen collaboration.
  • Maintain awareness of client business to enhance relationships and contribute to cross-functional team success.
  • Keep leadership informed of project timelines, potential roadblocks, and status updates.
Mentorship – 5%
  • Support onboarding and training of junior team members, contributing to team growth and skill development.
About you
The successful candidate will have 1+ years previous paid social media experience and basic knowledge of advanced analytics and performance media. You will have familiarity with broader marketing principles, analytics and concepts including buying ads on Facebook and Instagram, which will be crucial in this role.
