This is a small independent CPA firm in Rockwall (TX) with around 12 people. The client base is stable, mostly local, and built on long term relationships. The environment is calm, supportive, and organised. People help each other out and take pride in getting things right.
This is not a chaotic clean up role. Systems are in place. Expectations are clear. You are trusted to manage your work without being micromanaged.
What you will be doing
- Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of small business clients
- Working in both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
- Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
- Preparing monthly and quarterly financials
- Supporting payroll, sales tax, and year end processes
- Working closely with Tax and Accounting staff to keep client records accurate
